Y4Y Music Camp
Within
the Y4Y Music Festival in Pattaya, the organizing committee has
set up a music camp for selected Thai musicians and the musicians
of Bangkok Symphony Orchestra.
Objective
1.
To enhance and improve
the music experience & knowledge of Thai classical musicians.
2.
To improve the understanding
of Culture Literacy of Thai classical musicians.
3.
To allow the opportunity
for Thai classical musicians to interact with top class international
classical musicians from all over the world.
4.
To allow the Thai
classical musicians to perform in a great environment as part of
Y4Y Music Festival that aims to raise fund to help to other youth
that are in need in Thailand through UNICEF.
Schedule
The music
camp will be 3 days 3 nights from November 6 to 9, 2003 at Thamasart learning resort, the Horseshoe Point, and Three Kingdoms Park in Pattaya, Thailand.

Criteria for local youth musicians
1.
under 25 years old
2.
“Very good” level
of skill in the particular instrument (Strings, Woodwinds, Brass,
Percussion)
3.
“Very enthusiastic”
to participate in the camp
4.
“Good” personality, friendly,
and good command in English
